We’re thrilled to share that the LendForGood team is growing, with Amana Shabeer joining us as our Impact Loan Administrator. This role sits close to both our borrowers and our lenders, so it matters that it is held by someone who shares our standards and our values in equal measure. We see each new addition to the team as more than a hire. It is a sign of a community that keeps building around a shared belief in what LendForGood is here to do.

So allow us to introduce you to Amana…
Amana is a Maldivian sustainable finance professional whose experience spans asset management, public finance, and advisory across London, Singapore, and the Maldives. Grounded in academic training in climate and economics, her passion for impact has drawn her towards emerging markets, working at the intersection of sustainability, development, and finance. She has led and contributed to projects that bring sustainability into financial analysis, measure the impact of bonds, and explore innovative new sustainable finance instruments. What stands out is her instinct for the kind of work that widens access and turns good intentions into something practical and lasting.
When we asked Amana why she chose to join LendForGood, she shared:
I’m joining LendForGood because it is doing exactly the kind of work I care deeply about, closing an important gap within the impact ecosystem by enabling access to affordable capital at the early growth stages of an impact enterprise. This ensures impact is possible for all, not just large institutions. Most of my career has been on the formal institutional side of finance, and this role feels like a genuine chance to close the loop. The Impact Loan Administrator role is an opportunity to get hands on with impact lending, understand the borrower and lender journey up close, and build real operational experience that desk research simply cannot replicate.
