We’re thrilled to share that LendForGood has been named Runner-up in the “For-Profit Project for Underserved Communities” category at the prestigious Money Awareness and Inclusion Awards (MAIAs) 2025.
The MAIAs are a global platform celebrating the organisations and initiatives working to help people better understand money and access the tools they need to participate meaningfully in the financial system. This year’s awards were highly competitive, and it’s an honour to have our work recognised alongside so many impactful projects from around the world.
At LendForGood, our mission is to democratise access to impact investing making it more transparent, accessible, and fair. We believe this is key to unlocking capital for early-stage impact businesses that are creating real, measurable change in underserved communities. These are the businesses that are too often overlooked by traditional finance, yet are essential to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
“The financial system is failing to support the impact businesses we need to grow in order to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. By democratising impact investment we invite everyone to invest in the kind of future they want, helping money flow to where it can create the greatest benefit.” ~Tom Dawkins, Co-Founder and Chief of Impact, LendForGood
The recognition from the MAIAs affirms the importance of building a more inclusive financial ecosystem—one where money can work for people, planet and purpose, not just profit.

A Strong Showing for Australia
This year’s MAIAs had a particularly strong Australian presence. As the official press release noted, “The For-Profit Categories were an Aussie party this year, with three of four category winners coming from Down Under,” along with our runner-up placement. MAIAs co-founder Trudi Harris commented,
“Australia has been punching above its weight at the MAIAs for some time now, but this may be its strongest showing yet.”
We’re proud to stand alongside fellow Australian winners Financial Literacy Australia, Capabilite.com, and the Mandy Money High School Program, as well as our category’s winner, Nickel from Spain. Each of these organisations is contributing powerfully to a more informed, empowered and equitable financial future. What’s Next?
This recognition energises our team as we continue building the LendForGood community and improving out digital platform, allowing everyday investors to support the kinds of impact businesses that make the world better. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to invest in the change they want to see and impact businesses should have access to capital that works for them. Awards like the MAIAs help spotlight why that matters.
Thank you to the MAIA Awards team and to all the amazing organisations leading the way in financial literacy and inclusion. We’re proud to be in your company.
